Purchasing Artwork Online

Once we receive an order for an artwork via the website we check it and send you a confirmation email. If the cost of shipping needs to be added after checkout we will contact you with a quote for this and only once shipping costs are paid can we confirm the order and arrange delivery.

We endeavour to make sure that all the details about an artwork listed on the website is accurate and up to date. If there is an error we will correct it as soon as we are aware of it.

Once shipping is paid and your order confirmed by us we will arrange the packing and shipping of your artwork. We will keep in touch with you throughout the shipping process and let you know of progress. Unless otherwise stated we aim to ship all orders within 21 days of order confirmation - though this is often much sooner. Any tracking numbers/courier details will be forwarded to you as required.

Great care is taken in the photographing, measuring and recording of artwork for the website. We cannot account for display qualities on screens and as all items are ‘hand-made’ please expect small tolerances of variation. If you need to double check measurements, check frames or need more detailed images of work please don’t hesitate to email us your request - we absolutely want to ensure you are happy with your purchase.

Shipping Information

Artwork can be shipped worldwide.

Paintings are securely packaged and insured to guard against damage.

As you proceed through the Checkout Process you will be able to choose between relevant shipping options. If you are unsure about which option to select, or you would like a quote, please get in touch first.

If you require overseas shipping select FREE studio collection at the checkout and then I will invoice you for shipping costs separately once they have been calculated.

  • We aim to ship work within 14 days of receipt of full payment. If there is a delay to this then we’ll let you know.

  • Once your work is shipped you will be provided with details so that you can track your delivery.

UK Shipping Costs

Small works

UK Courier Shipping (FedEx or similar): £30

Medium

UK shipping: £90

Large works

To ensure safe delivery and to prevent damage we use a specialist art shipping agent. This is a is door-to-door service by art handling experts. Once the delivery is confirmed you will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery time.

UK art specialist shipping: £150

In person collection from the studio near York, UK (YO19) : FREE

Overseas Shipping

Overseas hipping is calculated on an individual basis.

We are happy to reserve a work while shipping costs are confirmed.

Import Tax and Duties

For international shipping, please note that any international import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser and not included in the shipping price or purchase invoice. Import taxes are determined by individual countries and vary accordingly. Once your purchase arrives at your countries boarder control, you will be contacted by customs with an import tax invoice which you will need to pay in order to have the work delivered.

I am happy to reserve a work for 24 hours should you wish to enquire about your countries import duties before proceeding with a purchase.

Returns and Refunds

We are confident you will be happy with your purchase, however, If you change your mind about your purchase returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery receipt. Full refunds will only be granted if the artwork is returned in its original condition. The purchaser is liable for the cost of shipping a return. If returning an artwork you will be expected to pack and ship the work in the same way as it was sent out to you. Refunds of artwork will not include the original shipping cost.

If a work is damaged in transit then please contact us as soon as possible. If you can, please take photographs of the damage (both to the work and the packaging). We will arrange the return of the work and you will be offered a refund.

Holding Work

If you are moving house or are having interior work done you may wish to have a delay between purchasing a painting and having it delivered. If so please get in touch and I can arrange to store the work at the studio for a fixed time until you’re ready to receive it.
